‘Corpus separatum’ Latin for ‘separate body’ was the term used in the 1947 U.N. partition plan for Jerusalem. According to this, the City would be placed under ‘an international regime’ due to its shared religious importance.

‘Corpus Separatum’ was the main talking point of the Lausanne Conference of 1949, the intent was to make Jerusalem the Capital of both the State of Israel and a Palestinian State, and an Open City available to all religious.

Although Israel controls both the Old City and the newer Jerusalem, the Old City is still mainly populated by Arab residents. If agreement can be reached this would become the Palestinian Capital. Israel remains strongly opposed.

The plan’s implementation has continually failed, but now the debate rages over who should control Gaza, with an international drive to have ‘Corpus Separatum’ become a reality believing this will bring Middle-East peace. It won’t!

Many Attempts Made

Some years ago the Arab League called for this plan in the U.N. with no success because of U.S. opposition, stating U.N. acceptance would further complicate the situation, even though the French and the British did finally approve.

Later, with a U.S. abstention, a U.N. ruling went against the State of Israel over continued construction of new settlements in Arab occupied areas. This occurred in the closing days of the Obama administration.

Israel’s Prime Minister And Defense Minister

Israel’s Prime Minister and Defense Minister came to the U.S. in 2010 to voice their interest in a negotiated settlement, “even if it takes painful decisions to get rid of this problem forever.”

“It is clearly time to make a decision between politics and history, nothing is beyond human capacity to solve.” Said Mr. Barak, the Israeli Defense Minister.

Beyond obtaining Palestinian recognition of the Jewish State, the sticking point remains over who controls Jerusalem. The Palestinians demand the Old City as their Capital, Israel claims all of Jerusalem as their perpetual Capital.

Control Of Jerusalem

There has for some time been a proposal allowing Israel greater access to European markets with perhaps associate membership in the European Union.

This would require Israel to allow Jerusalem to become the Capital of both States, with Israeli and Palestinian Mayors.

A Major Threat To Israel’s Security

In December 2014 Israel’s Prime Minister stated opposition to the joint capital proposal citing security concerns, as well as maintaining Israeli sovereignty.

Said former Prime Minister Perez: “any agreement should be made through direct negotiations and not by imposition.”

The 2023-24 Israel-Gaza War

Just at the time Saudi-Arabia was to sign agreements with Israel, and the Abraham Peace Accord was to be renewed, terrorists from the Gaza Strip attacked Israeli settlements brutally killing twelve hundred people.

This well timed attack was executed to derail both peace plans, which the beginning of the war has achieved.

It is too soon to determine what will be done to reestablish a long term peace, but no doubt ‘Corpus Separatum’ will be proposed once more, with world pressure against Israel to settle the matter.

Enter The False Prophet…

On his visit to Israel in 2014 the head of the Roman Catholic Church summoned the Prime Ministers of both sides to Rome for meetings and prayers, both immediately agreed to attend and came to the Vatican.

This is an indicator of the strength of Vatican influence and an indication of what is soon to come.

The Vatican has already been given control of most of the Christian sites in Israel, and has been given land in Jerusalem to build a facility which may become a second Vatican City!

With Israel under intense pressure following the Gaza War to settle the problem, the Vatican may prove to be instrumental in bringing about an agreement to have the Pope become an intermediary between Israeli and Palestinian, with Jerusalem declared an OPEN CITY.

German controlled E.U.-U.N. so-called ‘peacekeepers’ will prove treacherous to the Jewish population of Jerusalem!

Half The City Shall Be Taken!

Bible prophecy indicates that Israel will be forced to submit to the ‘Corpus Separatum’ plan being introduced.

Zechariah 14:2 is a DUAL prophecy also relating to Jerusalem today, which says “HALF the City shall be taken.”

A Third Temple To Be Built

There have been negotiations between Jewish leaders, Muslim Clerics, a respected Muslim writer, and a ‘so-called Christian prophet’ in the person of the head of the Catholic Church.

An agreement will be worked out to declare Jerusalem an Open City with a third Temple to be built there.

But with the admittance of European ‘peacekeepers’ to the City, the enforced occupation of Jerusalem will begin.

Prophecy indicates German-Vatican control, with troops on the ground in Jerusalem becoming occupiers!

ONCE THIS IS IMPLEMENTED THERE WILL BE A HISTORY MAKING THIRD TEMPLE BUILT IN JERUSALEM!

But little does Israel know the Head of the Catholic Church intends to occupy the Temple, sitting in God’s place!
